The
Grand Valley now has a state-of-the-art, specialized
classroom/studio that caters to the art of fabric surface design using
dyes, paint, resists, embellishments, photo printing and various other
techniques. The Studio can also be easily used for collage,
mixed-media, sewing, quilting, painting, doll-making, jewelry making or
scrapbooking.
Fabric Arts Studio is designed for individuals, small or large groups to rent studio space (up to 20 students plus a teacher). Artists can work
comfortably with ample tables, wet and dry studio space, and daylight spectrum lighting as well as plentiful electrical outlets and a separate eating area. We also have a computer, projector, large screen, speakers, and microphones for Power Point or any type of presentation or lecture.
In addition, we have a retail storefront (open by appointment) that caters to the art of surface design and quilting arts. We are just off Interstate 70, 1 mile from 24 Rd, on 23 Rd and 6 & 50. Come by and say "hello" if you are in the area.
